A Passion for People and Dentistry
Get To Know Dr. Jonathan Pivo
Dr. Jonathan Pivo grew up in the San Fernando Valley with a love of sports, especially playing baseball at Harvard-Westlake High School. Throughout his childhood and young adulthood, Dr. Pivo had two dentists who made an impression on him with fun and memorable visits, an educational approach, and a compassionate touch. These experiences, combined with a passion of working with his hands and helping others, attracted him to the world of dentistry and led him to the path he’s on now with PivoSmiles. On top of his excellent dental work, Dr. Pivo has also been voted Next Door Neighborhood Fave in 2020, 2022, and 2023, showing his dedication to providing top-notch care and service to the local community.
Dr. Pivo graduated from the University of Southern California as an undergraduate, after which he traveled and studied abroad for a couple years. He then went on to receive his DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and completed his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Pivo enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, going on backpacking trips, running, biking, and playing tennis and baseball.
